Rosebud Ben-Oni’s List of Poetry Books

poetry image

Hi Everyone,

This is a list of poets published in 2019-2020 crowdsourced by Rosebud Ben-Oni and published on The Kenyon Review Online. It’s a tough time to be publishing (and everything else) so if you feel like reading during the quarantine this may prove a great resource for you and a big help to these poets!

Stay safe and well. Kelly

Open to All: A Crowd-Sourced List of Over 200 Mid-2019 to 2020 Poetry Titles

Rosebud Ben-Oni
March 13, 2020

I often think about this space here on The Kenyon Review. I think of the essays I’ve written here, the readers I’ve met because of those pieces, and the poets and writers with whom I’ve shared this space. But right now I’m thinking of the many poets who are missing or will miss out on book launches, readings, signings and celebrations because of the global health crisis. I’m thinking about community and kindness, and so I hope this list will spark some joy, though it’s not a replacement for those events so many of us are missing.

Here is a list of recent and upcoming poetry collections (with a couple of novels written by poets) that I crowd-sourced over on Twitter. If a book does not yet have a page on the publisher’s or author’s website, I linked to the general site associated with the poetry collection, and marked it Forthcoming.

Be well, everyone.

Note: This list was originally crowd-sourced. People recommended books to me; I didn’t choose the books myself. Please note this list is ongoing & updated.
